I’ve trained at York University, Sheridan College, and have my professional Training Certificate in Theatre of the Oppressed from Cardboard Citizens in London, England, where I trained with Augusto Boal himself (still one of my favourite experiences). I am also an alumni and member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab, the Tarragon Playwright's Unit and the Co-founder/Artistic Director of the Directors Lab North.

I  love theatre. Plain and simple. Although I sometimes wonder why I stay in this insanely erratic and tumultuous business, I am an arts geek down to my core.
I started off as a performer, which I still am and will always be, but over the last several years I have transitioned into directing and producing as well, and my latest obsession, writing, which I find terrifying and exhilarating depending on the day.

I continue to strive for excellence in everything I do. My desire for quality in the pursuit of art is something I take seriously. I am a constant work in progress and as you will see as you navigate this site, I love all aspects of theatre and art. I basically have theatre A.D.D.

I have performed in everything from cruise ships and commercials to Shakespeare and have directed and produced shows with only four stools and three props to full fledged maximum overloaded spectacles. I love to experience the full spectrum the arts has to offer.

I try to create based on a simple principal that a wise director once said to me... “Solutions, not obstacles”. That is my mantra when I work. Sounds simple in theory, but not in execution.
So have fun and explore and I welcome any and all feedback (as long as it’s positive, productive and funny!)

Thanks for visiting.
